THE VATICAN; Cardinal Pell returns and Cardinal Bechiu loses his faculties.

 Extraordinary things are happening in Rome with the return of Cardinal Pell.   Some of you may remember a few yers back, when the charge of money laundering in the Vatican Accounts was rife in the media, but it came to nothing because the Vatican is an independent state and cannot be called upon by the Italian Government or Police to hand over its accounts.   That there was corruption going on however, there was no doubt.   Pope Benedict could not handle the problem, surrounded as he was by corrupt clergy, and it drove him into early retirement.   Pope Francis is of sterner stuff and as Pell himself said, "There are many corrupt people in the Vatican but Pope Francis is not one of them"    Francis turned to Pell and he started auditing the accounts.   He was appalled at what he found and started asking questions.   Suddenly he was out of the Vatican, being charged with sexual offences in Australia.   He was imprisoned in Victoria, but on Appeal the Supreme Court in Australia ruled, though not quite in these words,  that there was so much evidence proving his innocence that it was surprising he was found guilty.  But now Pell is back. The accounts in the Vatican, the laundering of money, meant that criminal gangs such as the Mafia could use the Account to deposit their ill-gotten gains.   Removal of the money was just as easy with the co-operation of their hirelings in the Vatican.   For example in the account Pell stumbled across a large sum of money that was marked off for the building of luxury flats in Chelsea, London.    Now this is a very interesting one, close to home.   The investigation by Pell goes on so we still do not know all the answers, however just who received this money from the Vatican, and into what account was it deposited?   Who built the flats and who has grown rich from their sale or rental?    In fact, should there be a police investigation?   Cardinal Pell is now settling down to ask questions again with the support as we have seen from the Bechiu sacking of Pope Francis.   But remember they are up against the Mafia and other crooked organisations who gained so much from the criminal activity in the Vatican.    Flats in Chelsea sell between £4million and £6million.

FAIR AS THE MOON, BRIGHT AS THE SUN, TERRIBLE AS AN ARMY SET IN BATTLE ARRAY

'Who is she that comes forth as the morning rising, fair as the moon, bright as the sun, terrible as an army set in battle array'. The meaning of 'virgo Immaculata'

As you will see from the stained glass window the name given to the image is Virgo Immaculata.   Mary was the virgin who remained sinless and spotless.  Yes she would have been tempted by Satan, but as the image shows she kept close to God in prayer and all the wiles of Satan, the forbidden fruit he offered, depictdd by the apple, ended up stuck in his throat while the right foot of Mary crushed his head. "I will put enmity between Thee and the woman and between thy seed and her seed", God tole the serpent in Genesis   Satan was no match for Jesus who was God made Man but he had overcome a mere mortal before in Eve, What a triumph it would have been to destroy she whom Jesus loved above al others - his mother.   But Mary kept close to Jesus and to God, the new Eve, and mother of the new children that the death of Jesus brought into being.    And as Revelations 12 tells us having failed to destroy the birth of Jesus Satan  went after her other children - us.       When
