My Last Blog

This is last blog  I started writing many years ago when the church was being changed from within by false teaching and false shepherds.  The church is now changing for the better and there is now hope for the future of our young people since the vision of Christ has returned with the new faithful shepherds our bishop has appointed.   I will not be a hindrance as I could be if I carry on.    God bless our bishop and his priests.

News from the Bishops of England and Wales

The Bishops of England and Wales met last week and made a decision on behalf of the Catholic people that as from Pentecost the faithful will return to the Sunday obligation of attending Mass, and that there would be no more relaying of the Mass over the Internet. This getting back to normal is to be welcomed, for every parish must be encouraged to grow so that it becomes the 'Light of Christ' to the world.  But bishops have been ignored in many parishes over the pandemic period, and many good Catholic priests have been unable to carry out their responsibilities to the bishop by people who just bullied and took control.    Will these people even mention the bishop as they stand again before the parish to tell them what they must do, often not from their own knowledge, but from their total ignorance of health matters.   It is the duty of every faithful catholic to protect their parish priest.

On the Enemy Within and their Hate of Mary

As the battle for an ecumenical Church rather than a One Faith Catholic Church continues, let us turn again to the most detested figure by the extreme ecumenists - Mary the Mother of God. Again from the Early Church we have the description of Mary as the 'New Eve'.   I have covered this in earlier blogs for anyone who is interested in the Truth, rather than sharing self opinions based on prejudice.    The Church did not define Mary as the New Eve nor was there any discussions, like the 'flesh of Jesus' this was part of the Revelation of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost.  St Paul wrote that Jesus was the New Adam and since His flesh was the flesh of the New Eve, it was accepted that she 'who was conceived full of grace' as the Angel Gabriel witnessed, was the New Eve.   The Early Fathers described her as the Eve, who unlike the old Eve who fell from Grace after being tempted by Satan, remained faithful and sinless.    When therefore the doctrine of the Immaculate Co

Good Shepherd Sunday

Today is Good Shepherd Sunday.   The Gospel tells us of the occasion when Jesus told the disciples that he was the Good Shepherd who guided his sheep, and he knew his sheep and his sheep knew him.   It is a beautiful Gospel, and later Jesus was to say to Peter after his Resurrection "Feed my lambs" and "Feed my sheep".    Peter and his Apostles were to become the shepherds in his Church.  They were to show the love that he had for the sheep, and to guide them through the pastures of holiness. It takes a great deal of humility in these days where pride abounds, to see ourselves as sheep.   Indeed it is pride and self-seeking that leads many astray, yet even these the Good Shepherd still loves any leaves the ninety nine behind to seek the one that is lost.   He never stops loving us. Do not believe that the Church can survive without priests.   They are men who burden themselves with the care of others.   While the vocation of the laity is to raise a family and be par

Following THE Holy Spirit or an Unholy Spirit.

Looking at the big picture probably when Christ announced the coming of the Holy Spirit to teach us all truth, then the Holy Spirit through the centuries has been a colossal failure.   Although in the Early Church they did have breakaway groups from the main Body of Churches in communion with Rome, the universal Church survived.  It is worth mentioning that the word Catholic came into being when Christian visitors came to a place they did not know, they would at first ask for the Christian Church but would often be directed to one of these heretical establishments.  This was overcome by using the word Catholic, in other words "I want the Church which is part of the large universal Church in communion with Rome".    But the serious 'failure', if I may be excused by the Holy Spirit, came with the Protestant Reformation, when taking Scripture put forward in 419 AD by the Catholic Church as the word of God to be read in Churches, they ignored the reason and authority of

A Change in Covid Personnel is Needed.

I posted the last blog as an example of how heavy handed many priests can be, and perhaps how the 'thirst for power' can affect even the laity.   What did Jesus say "Unless you become as little children, you cannot enter into the Kingdom of Heaven".   Humility and 'truth of self' is at the very heart of the teaching of Christ.   No one in the Church should seek to be a leader or catechist, or even a priest, if this willingness to hear and discuss is not a part of their lives.   This is especially true of people who do not go to Confession, who do not kneel and adore Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, despise what they call 'childish devotions' such as the Rosary, and show by their speech that they have utter contempt for the Mother of God.   How easily they fell for the Post-Vatican II dishonesty which falsely claimed that these were actually part of Vatican II.    I have written about these things in previous blogs and how they were all part of the Earl

So putting it all together.

Perhaps I am too old.   Things do no go into place as quickly now as when I was younger.   Reading into local authorities and their responsibility for ensuring the Health and Safety of Places of Worship, what suddenly came to me was just how unprofessional some approaches were to the Covid crisis.    It is of little value telling people that there should have been a proper 'risk assessments' made on any decision, or where in doubt the local authority should have been contacted.   People placed themselves in charge who had little experience and believed they could do what they liked, and almost damn the consequences.   They just ignored anyone who said that there were rules. Let me say that the majority were acting from good motives, but not all.   A dispute did break out about the fourteen windows which should never have been opened in winter.   But only personal arguments ensued and the committee took authority back.  People did realise that people were freezing and complaine

Change is Coming

Again with the Church we have celebrated Good Friday and Easter Sunday.   The Church called us to penance for out failings during Lent, and we as Catholics responded.   We had the joy of confession, and the humility of receiving Jesus indeed being joined to Him in a very intimate way through Holy Communion, who died for us on the cross and then rose from the dead, so that His flesh could be our nourishment.  We could in our turn become Christlike and build His Kingdom on earth as He asked us to do at his Ascension.   Jesus said "If you love me, keep my Commandments", so how much we love Jesus is measured by our obedience to His will.   There is no room for pride and pretence.  Jesus taught against adulterous relationships and he taught chastity before marriage.    So what is our response?   How much do we love Him?   Do we go off to some false prophet and decide  we can 'follow our conscience'?   Or follow the many new prophets who tell us in many different ways that

Bringing Churches into the Rule of Law.

I thought I would come back on since I have been silent for so long.   I want to wish my friends a happy and a holy Easter.    It has been very cold in Church due partly to ignorance of Government legislation but now that they are being uncovered and the discovery is being made that it is against the Health and Safety legislation to allow buildings to let temperatures drop to less than 67 degrees I think that winters to come will be much warmer in Church.   The silly thing is that maintaining temperatures at this level stops the spread not only of Covid, but of flu, pneumonia, and other lung diseases, and yet through wilful ignorance this was not even discussed, and windows and doors were opened almost in triumph.  But ignorance is no excuse for breaking the law.   But believe me the days of people coming to Church prepared to shiver despite warm clothing, or be lucky enough to find a spot beside a heating radiator are well and truly over.
Gee I am back.  I will have to prepare a post.

A Ukrainian Catholic leader said on Thursday that the besieged city of Mariupol — the “City of Mary” — has been transformed into a cemetery by Russian bombardment. In a  video message  issued on March 10, Major Archbishop Sviatoslav Shevchuk lamented what he described as the “mass murder” of Ukrainians following Russia’s full-scale invasion. “Today my conscience and the conscience of every Christian demands that we raise our voices throughout the world and loudly say the word ‘No,’ to declare strong opposition to the mass murder of people in Ukraine,” he said. “Especially in these last moments, we see mass murder in the besieged city of Mariupol. This city, which was founded by the Greek community as the ‘City of Mary,’ has been transformed into a cemetery for tens of thousands of people.” He went on: “Yesterday we saw horrific scenes of the bombarding of a maternity ward as well as scenes of mass graves, common burials, where hundreds of lifeless bodies are laid to rest.” ADVERTISEM

The Ukrainian Bishops and Fatima

The Bishops of the Ukraine have asked Pope Francis to dedicate Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.  There is no better time than now when the lust for war has corrupted President Putin.   Now I know that many good Catholics believe that this was already done by Pope St John Paul 11, but the evidence is that he did not.    There were many 'advisers' in the Vatican who criticised what he was doing, and pointed out that the Orthodox Church would be offended, that Russia would be offended, and so many other problems would arise.   The Pope listened and eventually never mentioned Russia at all in his dedication of the whole world to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.   But Mary had asked that Russia be mentioned specifically.   There was a news item that Lucia had said the dedication was in accordance with Our Mother's wishes, but there was a great deal of controversy over a photograph of Lucia, was it really her?   And we never did know the question that was asked of her.   Am

On Independent Thinking.

We live in a crazy age where normal ways of thinking and using logic seem to have disappeared.   People have aspirations to be recognised as clever, but it seems individuality does not count.   Be part of a group  who will praise you, make you feel good about yourself, assure you that you are always right, for they are always right, and of course any opposition is treated with nastiness, for you do not want to be proved wrong.  I seem to have been meeting people like the above all my life, which is why I never jump on board any band waggon and have found myself in trouble for most of my life. I feel therefore for people who are not part of the group but want to show the group the folly of their ways.   Take the question of Covid.   There are institutions where people take charge and with bursts of fervour tackle the problem as they see it, but in doing so give rise to another problem which for lack of knowledge they fail to identify.  What we need is ventilation.   They jump in and op

10th Question: Forming ourselves in Synodality.

Looking outward in Synodality.   What a mouthful.   In many parishes the Catholics have been crushed over the years by groups of people from the Modernist days teaching the nonsense I have already revealed in former posts.   Elections are not held so that a warning from earlier days could be fulfilled, "Do not let any incoming priests change the way the parish is".   The modernist anti-catholics, are almost fanatical about this.   I have related stories of their dishonesty which I witnessed or was involved in elsewhere.   We now have the same group of people claiming to be experts on the covid outbreak, opening every window in the Church, bringing the temperature down to well under 60 degrees F. and caring little that they are breaking the law and really causing damage to the health of the people in the pew, especially the old.   They now make the claim that they are dealing in facts and not opinion.  What stupid people they are!   So in order to take part in Synodality thes

9th Question: Discerning and Deciding

Discerning is a difficult word to describe.   But as far as Faith is concerned it has something to do with looking at an action which in itself looks harmless but in the context of its affect on others can be harmful indeed. Let me give the example that Jesus Christ gave us.   Adultery is not a word we use too much.   "O what harm are they doing" is the response of the world.   But Jesus Christ condemned adultery.   We know from the Early Church the reply of St Justin to those who accused Christians of sex feasts telling them about the chastity that was part of the Christian Faith.   But then we have forgotten Jesus, and prefer to talk of the Holy Spirit as a person of the Trinity who has a different take on the teachings of Jesus.   Therefore there is no need for discernment in making our decision.    But were we to look at the bigger picture and how adultery affects society we would find that with false teachings in our schools, we have brought about the age of the single

8th Question: Authority and Participation

It seems to me that as I write this blog, having consulted the Bible, the Early Fathers, and the Catechism of the Catholic Church, I am participating in the Authority of the Church, in so far as what I write is sound doctrine.    It is not my views I write, for if I dared to do so, in my pride I would probably mislead people into error.  I would be a false prophet.   In my last blog I quoted Matthew 28, that Christ would be with his Church always, and that His Church would speak with His authority.   Jesus also said "He that hears you, hears me, and he that despises you despises me"    So always, always, always, I bow to the Authority of the Church of Jesus Christ.   It is sad that those who contradict Jesus always say that they have the guidance of the Holy Spirit in doing so.   May I point out that I am not condemning Protestants here, I am specifically talking about Catholics, who bowing to the pressures of our Society have found the Cross of Jesus too heavy, and have tri

6th Question: Dialogue in Church and Society

"ALL AUTHORITY is given to ME in heaven and on earth, go YOU THEREFORE to all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and TEACHING THEM TO OBSERVE  ALL I HAVE COMMANDED YOU, and behold I am with you all days, EVEN TO THE END OF THE WORLD".   Mathew 28. The above scripture is all faithful Catholics have to know about Dialogue in Church and Society,   Jesus Christ, the Son of God, appeared on earth and gave the Church his authority to teach His truth and He would be with that Church always,  no matter how many false prophets arose and led astray 'even the elect'. Jesus meant His Church to restore the world to what God had meant it to be, religiously, politically, and with a social structure of one type of family, "From the beginning God made them male and female and so a man shall leave his family and cling to his wife,   and they shall become one flesh, and what God has joined together let not man pull asunder"   To make marr

5th Question: Co-responsibility in the Mission

I did not attend any of the meetings organised by my parish.   I knew that if I spoke up on this particular topic I would gain no support from anyone.   O yes, some would agree, but they would, as they see it, be uncharitable to cause division and would continue to 'leave it to God'. I saw a wonderful sight in Church a couple of weeks ago.   A lady had gone to the altar to receive Communion, kneeling and on the tongue.    She had two small children on either side and both of them knelt with her.   She was teaching the children how to love  Jesus.    But why was she kneeling on the floor?   Why was there no kneeler for her and the children?    Many are now kneeling on the floor, but why is there no kneeler presented to them?   It all goes back to the 70's and 80's when our parish was turned upside down by anti-catholics who had discovered they had the Holy Spirit and were now in a position to take over the and build a New Church,   With the support of the then bishop an

4th Question: Celebrating

Now this has been the major topic over the past 50 years.    There has been more deceit and dishonesty over that time on the Mass, than on any other subject.   It all started when the Bishops at Vatican II could not reach an agreement over what should be said in the vernacular and what should be said in Latin.   There was a major call from a minority, especially the German bishops, to use the vernacular of the local area, but no conclusion was reached.    However a couple of  years after the Council we were suddenly plunged by bullies in the Vatican and the deceit of bishops to use the vernacular and shamelessly told it was Vatican II.    Now let me say this, I do not care if the Mass is said in Latin, Greek, Hindu, or any other language.  I do not believe that God cares what language we use as long as we are sincere and love comes from our hearts as we acknowledge the Body and Blood of His Son and receive His flesh with reverence.   So at first I was not suspicious.    It was when th

Third Question: Speaking Out

The question on listening is very much linked with Speaking Out.   When you listen to someone speak you believe you have a right to answer.  But this is not necessary so, and often if you dare ask a question and get no answer, the message is often 'keep your opinions to yourself and shut up'.   I have had many experiences of this and have asked many questions of 'experts' sent by a bishop to build a New Church.   I have given the example in the training of Catechists in my last post.   I have spoken of a catechism put forward in Catholic Schools which did not mention the Flesh of Christ on the altar, and how the training for First Holy Communion omitted to tell children they were receiving Jesus.    The truth is of course that many clergy, including bishops, did not believe in the Real Presence.   To keep the priests popular these 'experts' were sent really to 'protect' the priests' and keep the parish happy.   After all they said nothing and could

Second Question: Listening

Listening is a very important word.   It is used so often in the Church over the past fifty years.    There are people a confused person entering into the Church is told to listen to, and there are people from whom a resounding "Don't listen to him or her" is almost spoken in anger.    I fit into the latter category but I prefer it that way.    I do not advertise my blog too much for the followers I seek are not supporters, I prefer in England a small number of people to read my blog my detractors, for I know that they will always look in, just in case they can catch me out on something or contradict me.   I am a constant reminder to them of the folly of their ways.   I get good support from America, and there are three people in Portugal who constantly look into the blog.     I now have about 500 reads a month, so I am not a top blog by any means.   I once wrote a blog where overnight 800 people from Sweden tuned in to read something I had written.   Every so, often I g

First Question: The Journeying Companions

So where do we start?    Well it is difficult for many but my experiences over 50 years where I found myself in places I should not have been and listening to catechists being instructed in the Faith, gives me an advantage. But first let me go to a Teachers Training College which used to be in this Diocese.   There I listened to a talk which was then delivered by a Lesbian who was telling the upcoming teachers that the Church had it wrong on sex.    They also had sessions I attended where old women in 'bunned' grey hair would bewail their fate that they could not be a priest.   I met another few later in the local school who were attending a lecture by someone who had written a book, book writing was all the rage at the time, but he had discovered that priests do not actually change the bread and the wine into the Body and Blood of Jesus.  He became a travelling celebrity.   "Gosh, I knew that when I was about 7" I thought to myself, but then this came under the cate

The Ten Questions for a Parish Synod

The Journeying Companions Listening Speaking Out Celebrating Co-responsibility in the Mission Dialogue in Church and Society With the Other Denominations Authority and Participation Discerning and Deciding Forming Ourselves in Synodality It has been decided by the Bishop, and I am not criticising him, for this is the task he has been given, that every parishioner will be given t questions on a sheet with spaces given to answer them.   The majority will of course have no idea what the questions mean, although those who have been engaged in the war of the two sides in the Church, Catholic and Modernist, will be well aware.   The question of course is who will be allowed to speak and guide the people? Let me make a distinction.   Catholics are people who go to confession, who adore Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, and wish to adore when they receive the flesh of Christ on their knees.   There is no law in the Church which says that they cannot.    Catholics also say the Rosary, but Modern

Worries about Parish Synods

I  have been looking through some approaches to the parish synods that Pope Francis has demanded as part of the new church.     I already have a 'deja vue' feeling about it all.    You see my faith is not 'sola scriptura'.  I have learned from several Catholic Catechisms, that the Catholic Church follows the bible, which the Catholic Church is responsible for putting together, but also tradition, that means what the Early Church Fathers believed.    My parish was changed with the anti-catholic revolution in the sixties and seventies.    The Synod is supposed to help us attract other people into the Church but what this previous revolution did, was to divide the Church into two groups and there were fierce attacks on the Catholic Faith and indeed on individual faithful Catholics.   I heard an 'expert' telling us that the Sacred Species was not meant to be adored, and this was followed by an attack on the Blessed Sacrament which was removed from the Main Altars o

A Quote from Luke 9:62

And Jesus said to him "ONCE THE HAND IS LAID ON THE PLOUGH, NO ONE WHO LOOKS BACK IS FIT FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD.

I am the Way, the Truth and the Life John 14:6

It is happening again.   I have been reading of another organisation that is going to teach us new ways to connect the old with the young.    Well at least they know there is a problem, which is more than those who caused the problem will admit.    They just carry on pretending that they are following Jesus, and everyone else is to blame, these 'traditionalists' for example. But there is no new way.   "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life" said Jesus "No one gets to the Father except through me" John 14:6. But wait.   Those teachings of Jesus on chastity and marriage, on divorce and abortion, surely mature adults living in the world must adapt themselves to the conditions of the world.      And where did I get my information from?    From a group of Catechists preparing children for Holy Communion and Confirmation.    I was treated like a fool in the midst of these intelligent people as they declared that the Church must change its teaching on abortion, di

Christians Should Take a Look at Themselves.

Are you following the true Jesus?     Or is there a true Jesus?    I remember at a Ecumenical Gathering last year on behalf of Ecumenism I was handing out a leaflet which directed people, if they were interested in Christianity, to talk it over with some people in a tent who would look at your preferences and decide what kind of Christianity suited you, and what Church you should attend.   Now there are all kinds of Christians, some are described as very fundamental and take Jesus too seriously.  They do not believe in 'grey areas' when it comes to sin, and try to follow Jesus on matters such as Divorce and Adultery, since they believe that that is how they show their love for Jesus.  "If you love me keep my commandments".    Others see the Jesus of compassion.   The man who is all loving and merciful and merely guides us how to live our lives, but leaves it to us to make our mistakes as long as we worship Him and are full of love for others. I will not judge any ind

On Being Children of Jesus and Mary.

It was sad that the Year of the Eucharist was largely forgotten when we had the Pandemic.    Then we had the Year of St Joseph, still at a time when the corona virus was sweeping the country.   So what will it be like in England during the Year of Our Lady?   But maybe I am getting ahead of myself.   Was there to be a Year of Our Lady?   Or am I just one of those nasty 'traditionalists' who believe there should be?   Certainly when I organised the 'Rosary on the Coast' about two years ago, I found myself in difficulties which were challenging since 'paying for people from other Basingstoke parishes to go on a coach to pray to Mary was not received charitably by some.    Even giving talks on Mary after Mass was an affront to many.  And at a local ecumenical meeting someone who told of how she prayed to Mary was told off afterwards.   So Mary is very much an 'ecumenical matter'. Yet how misinformed many Catholics are on Mary.   I have spent many hours on my b
