 I have read what the Pope said on Civil Unions for homosexuals. I have read the defences put forward by those who support him, and I must say I am very perplexed.   What the Pope is actually saying is "Ok, if you are going to carry on a sinful life, then at least do it in a family setting, commit yourselves to each other in a life of sin, and you have my approval"   Of course what the Pope said, from a human point of view, is very understanding. the good within us reaches out to the gay people, we do wish them well and the best from our hearts, but it is not the teaching of Christ and it seldom leads to happiness.   We could from this way of thinking justify brothels.   But sin is sin, and never in the history of the Church have the Fathers recommended a more comfortable way of sinning. Of course I am talking about Church teaching in this and the Church has a very bad name in the secular world and on the above I will be called a bigot and nasty right winger. ...

I had 1,639 views in one single day from the Ukraine.   They were no doubt trying to track this story since Joe Biden had, among other charges, went to defend the company his son Hunter was involved in, went to the Ukraine and offered one million dollars state aid if they fired the judge who was involved in a law suit against his son's company.  Te judge was fired.     Joe had denied he had had any dealings with this company or his sos's affairs.    Wh did they come to me?  Well Facebook had crushed the story along with Twitter, since they are pro Democrats, as well as the rest of the American Media except Fox News.   B:B:C and ITV are asa great anti-Trump campaigners.   So I am posting this for y friends in the Ukraine.

 I was listening to a Sunday Morning Programme on BBC where they were talking about Racism at Cambridge University.   Apparently some students say nasty things to blacks and we did have examples given.   This meant, of course, that Cambridge is a racist University full of racist hate.   On comes one of what I now call 'Nutty Professors' who goes on to tell us that such racism must be expelled and yes, there is racism in the University.   But things will be OK for the University will be running a course which will stop all this.      This brought to mind my terrible encounter with racism.    I was at an Australian Party in the 1960's when this Aussie with malice in his face approached me and sneered, "You are a Limie" meaning English.   I told him I was Scottish and my friends moved in to assure him of it, and my Aussie friends gave him a dressing down.   That was it.   The incident was settled.     I did not leav...
