The Feminists Must Take Responsibility

Now the death of a woman walking alone at night, being attacked and raped is something that brings anger and outrage.   Yes, it could have been my wife, or my daughter, and we feel suddenly very vulnerable.   But blaming the law and abusing men by telling them they should be off the streets by six o'clock is not rational and indeed an insult to the majority of men.

There is no doubt that young girls and women are used and abused in our present society more than ever in the country's history.   The idea however that we can regulate human nature by law, by prohibitions, and shouting in the street, is as very poor one.   We must be open to valid criticism of ourselves as a society and any contribution we make to ensuring these tragedies go on and on.    So let me start with this criticism, it has never been easier for a man to have sex with a woman than it is today.   Schools teach what they call 'safe sex' and pretend that they are doing a good job.    But sex separated from love and commitment is anything but safe.   Schoolgirls look forward to being loved by someone who really cares, so are flattered when a boy shows them attention.   Perhaps there are  few dates before the boy mentions 'safe sex' and the girl gives herself willingly only to be dumped a few dates later.   Hopefully she realises the boy was more interested in her body than in her.    If she does not then she takes boyfriend after boyfriend hoping she will be lucky.   But she is now hooked on sex, and looks for it everywhere and persuades herself that that is just what life is about and having sex is great fun.   She forgets that sex is not love and love is not sex.    But the media comes to her aid.    How many soaps do you see this played out.   There is one soap I watch which was once worth watching but now you cannot keep up with the number of women on the show that one character goes to bed with.    We watch, we see, and we believe that this is real life.    Just having sex is an act of love.    There is no programme more degrading of women than this soap, but it just carries on and nobody objects.   Certainly not the feminists.    We go on to adulthood and some young women get married.   But having had so much sex they find it difficult to settle with one partner.    Perhaps that is why they do not take vows of fidelity to one another in marriage.    It is not marriage but legal sex.   I was once in a Trade Union, and the amount of married people who attended Conferences who used the chance to be unfaithful to their partners at home was just sickening.    But it was acceptable.   Did the men respect in anyway the women they chose, not one little bit.     And today there are women in all shades of society who do not care if the male they have sex with is married or not, and have not conscience in destroying a family.

As I said in my last post, politicians and even these feminists do not shout out about women with children being abandoned by their husbands or boy friends, for they make good politics sand there is also the novel idea that a baby in the womb is not human but a fetus who can be killed just like a virus.   All ideas of the 'object' feeling pain, or lying on a sluice trying desperately to breath is just outrageous talk.

So what is the answer.   The answer is teaching boys from an early age to respect women.    I grew up in working class Glasgow.    I was taught never to physically hurt or strike a girl or woman and I never did.   I also wanted to marry a woman who would at the altar be chased and pure, and I would be the only one in her life.    My future was to dedicate my life to such a woman.    Now I am not saying that everything was perfect and there were no affairs, but it was never on the scale that it is today.   I believed in marriage, and my marriage for 54 years has never disappointed me.     For so many young people today, this seems impossible.
