FATIMA, SINS OF THE FLESH, AND MY SICK BOWL
Now I have tried very hard in the past few weeks to write only what Mary would want me to write. Mary never condemns anyone but only seeks their salvation and is always welcoming. So part of this she would never want to say for justice is the role of her Son who will judge the living and the dead. She deals entirely with mercy.
During the apparitions Mary talked about the need to console God who has been very hurt by the sins that are commitied and young Francisco spent the rest of his life in prayer and often before the Blessed Sacrament consoling the God who was hurting. That is one of the messages of Fatima, that God cares so much for us that he hurts, it is something the we should be proud of while at the same time our lack of love should make us ashamed that we treat Him so badly.
But there is one point in the message of Fatima which we should not overlook. Mary said that sins that brought most people to Hell were the sins of the flesh. I have heard this week of people in high places teaching that sins of the flesh are the least of sins because 'THE FLESH IS WEAK' I remember about 30 years ago listening to a Lesbian Feminist in a Catholic Teachers Training College telling the students the the Church had it all wrong on sex. And how many Catholic Schools take the practice of chastity seriously? They have snuggled up to the secular state and seem not to notice that about half the Catholic schoolchildren now come from broken homes with single mothers and indeed many have no parents and are living in childrens homes. And I will dare to say that many of them are growing up to be promiscuous because their parent was promiscuous, and they land up in the same position as their parents. I know that this is not easy to read since it is atopic we have all been running away from but just one fact more think of the poor girls who were used by Pakistanis gangs and were easy prey to prostitution because they had never experienced the love of father and mother, not just towards them but to each other. How long digit take before even the Police were interested. So the secular state moves on and will soon completely destroy Catholic teaching when the Government forces them to teach gay relationships. What fools these reformers are? The sins of the flesh are the greatest sins because they have the worst consequences. But why should we care. We look after our children and as long as they are fine we do not really care about others. That is not even the message of Christ never mind the message of Fatima.
AND THERE IS NOTHING OUR LADY SAID AT FATIMA THAT JESUS DID NOT SAY IN THE GOSPEL. HE WARNED US HE WOULD JUDGE THE LIVING AND THE DEAD, HE WARNED US THAT SOME WOULD BE SENT TO ETERNAL FIRE, HE TOLD US TO KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS. MY ADVICE IS TO STUDY FATIMA AND ITS MESSAGE AND START PRAYING TO OUR LADY FOR ON THE DAY OF JUDGEMENT SHE MAY BE YOUR ONLY FRIEND.
