IS POPE FRANCIS 'THE WISEST FOOL IN CHRISTENDOM?'
Francis acknowledged that there are “violent persons of this religion [Islam],” immediately adding that “in pretty much every religion there is always a small group of fundamentalists. Fundamentalists. We have them.”
The Pope asserted moreover that he knows how Muslims think, and that deep down they desire peace and harmony just as Christians do.
“I had a long conversation with the imam, the Grand Imam of the Al-Azhar University, and I know how they think,” he said. “They seek peace, encounter.”
“I do not believe it is right to identify Islam with violence. This is not right or true,” he said.
The Pope insisted that the Islamic State does not draw its ideology from the religion of Islam, but appeals rather to the emptiness of young people and a love for violence.
“How many young people, how many young people of our Europe, whom we have left empty of ideals, who do not have work… they take drugs, alcohol, or go there to enlist in fundamentalist groups,” he said. “One can say that the so-called ISIS, but it is an Islamic State which presents itself as violent . . . because when they show us their identity cards, they show us how on the Libyan coast they slit the Egyptians’ throats or other things.”
“But this is a fundamentalist group which is called ISIS… but you cannot say, I do not believe, that it is true or right that Islam is terrorist,” he said.
The Pope concluded by suggesting that Islamic terrorism does not stem from any violence inherent to Islam itself, but rather from other non-religious motives, such as poverty.
NOW LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT, POPE FRANCIS. IN TODAYS WORLD ARE THERE CHRISTIANS GOING AROUND CHOPPING OFF PEOPLE'S HEADS BECAUSE THEY WILL NOT CONVERT?. ARE THERE CHRISTIANS BURNING YOUNG GIRLS ALIVE BECAUSE THEY WILL BNOT BE SEX SLAVES? ARE THERE HOMOSEXUALS BEING THROWN FROM HIGH BUILDINGS TO THEIR DEATH OR BEING BEHEADED BECAUSE THEY Are CAUSING POVERTY AMONG THE MOSLEMS? DO MEN MARRY 6 YEAR OLDS BECAUSE THEY ARE IN LOVE? I AM SURE THERE ARE MANY MOSLEMS WHO READ THE KORAN AND ARE PEACEFUL BUT THE PROBLEM IS THAT THE MILITANTS ARE MORE INTERESTED IN MOULDING THEMSELVES INTO THE IMAGE OF MOHAMMED WHO DID ALL THE THINGS THAT THEY ARE DOING. THE CHRISTIANS IN THE MIDDLE EAST MUST HAVE BEENF COMFORTED BY YOUR WORDS.

FAIR AS THE MOON, BRIGHT AS THE SUN, TERRIBLE AS AN ARMY SET IN BATTLE ARRAY

'Who is she that comes forth as the morning rising, fair as the moon, bright as the sun, terrible as an army set in battle array'. The meaning of 'virgo Immaculata'

As you will see from the stained glass window the name given to the image is Virgo Immaculata.   Mary was the virgin who remained sinless and spotless.  Yes she would have been tempted by Satan, but as the image shows she kept close to God in prayer and all the wiles of Satan, the forbidden fruit he offered, depictdd by the apple, ended up stuck in his throat while the right foot of Mary crushed his head. "I will put enmity between Thee and the woman and between thy seed and her seed", God tole the serpent in Genesis   Satan was no match for Jesus who was God made Man but he had overcome a mere mortal before in Eve, What a triumph it would have been to destroy she whom Jesus loved above al others - his mother.   But Mary kept close to Jesus and to God, the new Eve, and mother of the new children that the death of Jesus brought into being.    And as Revelations 12 tells us having failed to destroy the birth of Jesus Satan  went after her other children - us.       When
