Give Unto Caesar the Things that Are Caesar's and to God the Things that Are God's
I am engaged at the moment in politics. I am unashamedly a member of UKIP and I want an end to the Capitalism of Europe and the Federal Government that is being built there, which is no longer denied.
I am an Environmentalist. I find it appalling that the uncurbed immigration from Europe now in its thousands is actually being welcomed by some, although it puts a great strain on housing, schools, and public services. What has happened in the Catholic Church is that since faith is now pitched more towards humanism than God many people feel guilt if they are not seen to be open to anyone arriving rather than asking questions of common sense. They are even being called fascists in at least one Catholic Newspaper as an invasion of Biblical Proportions caused fear and panic in Europe. The truth is of course more to do with fear than racism, yet as hypocrites build their popularity in criticising others and raising their own self esteem the situation is getting out of control and fear is being turned into violence in many places, especially France and Germany. The invasion of Europe was not by refugees, those fleeing the Syrian War accounted for only 20% of the arrivals, they were the true refugees and to give David Cameron some praise, he needs it badly these days, he refused to take part in the European scheme intent on rescuing those who did not have the money to flee from the Refugee Camps in Lebanon. As as result many Christians have been saved and locally my Catholic School has been asked to take thirty.
There has been a debate on migrants from Europe in Britain and the question asked 'How Many Should We Take?" Debate has been furious over the question, some say take them all, some say only a few. But nobody asks why is there free movement of workers? That seemed to me to be the real question but nobody is interested. I can understand this from the Remain point of view, economics shows that the more workers you have chasing jobs the lower the wages become. It is all part of the Capitalist system. Again free trade areas benefit the flow of trade and bring greater profits and once the flow starts it is difficult to stop without risk. The German Chancellor has a big question to ask, if she were to put punitive tariffs on exports to Britain after Brexit she would throw Germany into an economic crisis for Britain is Germany's third largest export market but Britain takes very little from Germany.
It is as very complicated question indeed and answers are not as easy as many in the Catholic Church would have us believe.. If Mrs Brown takes her child at four to the local primary school and find there is not place for the child because so many immigrant children are arrived she has every right to ask for control on immigration. If Jack and Jill are waiting for social housing but keep bing put to the back of the clue because of the arrival of immigrant families they have a right to ask about immigration. They are not fascists or right wingers but ordinary people who want a control put on immigrants from Europe. We have had many immigrants from outside the EU over the past 50 years but the flow was measured and almost invisible since no strain was put on the population. EU immigration has. From an environmental view I love the green field of England but if more and more uncontrolled migration arrives there will hardly be a blade of grass left as housing development increases and there may be nothing left of England's green and pleasant land.
