The Sexual Revolution and the Young.

It was good to hear on TV that the problems of young people in schools is at last being recognised.  Young girls from the age of  13 are having explicit e-mails sent to them by boys, and parents are furious that the schools are doing nothing to protect their children.  There have been cases of sex abuse and even rape.   Now the exposition of such things happening and the finding of parents that schoolteachers do not take them seriously, indeed one parent resorted to law, is all fine and good, but there was an obvious question that was not being asked.    How many girls do not complain because having just entered into puberty they are flattered by the attention they get, especially when they come from unhappy homes.   I have been blogging on this subject for about 30 years on my blog, and I am certainly not the toast of many Catholic school teachers or priests, when I pointed out that their refusal to give sound moral teachings, in accordance with the teachings of Chris,t was leading many young girls into abortion, single parenthood, and yes, having been used and abused so many times they had mental health problems in their lives which could  eventually lead on  to suicide.

I once visited a Catholic Teachers Training College in this Diocese where I heard a woman telling the students that the Church had it all wrong on sex.  So what effect had this on the would be teachers, when it came to teaching the Gospel.   The College was eventually closed down, not by me, but I would have done so if I had had the opportunity.    I encourage you to look up my blog on St Justin Martyr to find out how the early Church followed the teaching of Christ.   I am also concerned by the number of priests who do not take the teaching of Christ seriously, muttering that such things do not matter, but they are surrounded by the consequences of Christ not being taught, their eyes have been blinded by their own conceit

So am I saying that all you have to do is go into Catholic Schools, tell them that this is what Christ wants, so they should just get on with it.   Of course not.   The wayward priests who say "We are the way God made us, so do not worry", must recognise that we are not the way God made us, and that is why Jesus died on the Cross, Heis the Way, the Truth, and the Life because he taught us the only way to happiness was through his teachings, which he gave to His Church, and that those who refuse to obey these teachings are no followers of the Gospel Jesus, but a Jesus they have constructed for themselves  claiming a false guidance by the Holy Spirit who is the protector of the teachings of the Church      I will quote again a Catechist I heard speaking a long time ago, "The Church must change its teachings on Contraception, Abortion, and Divorce".   Of course she was in good standing in my parish for this was when the great revolution, which lied about Vatican II, had recently took place, and the young were leaving in droves, having had false teachings imposed upon them in our schools.

Jesus and Mother Mary, bring back to our Church the love of truth, the love of neighbour, and a love of our children that draws them to Our Saviour Jesus Christ.
