La Salette Revisited.
In 1846 the Virgin Mary appeared to two children Maximim Giraud aged 11, and Melanie Calvat aged 14. They found her weeping at the side of the road. The lady told them an almost unbelievable story the Rome would fall to the Anti-Christ and the pope would be driven from the Vatican. Of course such a story could be laughed at then for the position of the Pope and the Vatican was very strong and seemed unassailable. Yet so earnest and truthful was their account that five year later Pope Pius IX approved of the apparition of Our Lady of La Salette. But why did Our Lady appear? At the same time the Vatican had obtained a document from the Alta Vendita branch of the Freemasons in Italy which read:
The Pope, whoever he may be, will never come to the secret societies It is for the secret societies to come first to the Church, with the aim of winning them both The work we have undertaken is not the work of a day, nor of a month, nor of a year. It must last many years, a century perhaps, but in our ranks the soldiers die, and the fight continues.
Little wonder Our Lady wept but as a mother she had warned her children, and as the most evil century, the 20th unleashed wars and horrors never experienced before by the human race, the infiltration made the church weaker and weaker. In the past I thought that Vatican II and the misinterpretation of the Council had started it all. But no, the Council was stage managed from beginning to end and the infiltrators who were now almost running the Vatican just ignored Vatican II and got on with their reforms in the name of Vatican II.
Despite the fact that the early Church had held to the teaching of Jesus and that they ate his flesh, and the sacred species was held in reverence by hearts and monks, the story was spread by European bishops and priests especially that Adoration was a medieval invention and that the body of Christ was not meant to be adored Utter nonsense. Yet they sold it to the people with a gabbled version of Community. Despite the early Church proclaiming Mary as the New Eve who was faithful to Christ in keeping her Immaculate Conception unsullied which the old Eve had failed to do, they claimed that this was all made up again in the Middle Ages. As an incentive they taught the people that in accepting their word, they proved themselves to be mature and knowledgeable and not like the childish people who still practiced devotion.
But let us get back to Melanie and La Salette. There is great concern that the coming Synod in Rome called the Amazon Synod will show that yes indeed Rome is in the hands of the Anti-Christ as more and more teachings of Christ are rejected on the grounds of humanism. Pope Leo XIII in a vision was shown that the church was in danger and started the Prayer to St Michael which was said at the foot of the altar after every Mass. Let us not be ashamed of our devotions however much we are mocked and stay after Mas and recite this prayer to him.
Holy Michael the Archangel, defend us in the day of battle, and be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the Devil, and may God rebuke him, we humbly pray, And do thou O Prince of the Heavenly host by the power of God, thrust down to Hell Satan and with him all the other evil spirits, who wander through the world for the ruin of souls.
Some will call the above prayer childish. But yes, it could be seen as such, but not to one who clings to the love of Jesus and Mary, for unless we become as little children, we cannot enter the Kingdom of Heaven.
