More on Gay Marriage

Let me make an important point first.    There are ordinary gays getting on with their lives as best they can and they are the majority.  They are not interested in marriage nor making a fuss, they just want to be left in peace.   Then there are the Gay Activists who are driven by what can only be called hatred and like spoiled children they demand whatever they can get and care not a jot for whoever they hurt.    We have seen the case just today in Belfast.   A Gay Activist 'innocently' walks into a cake factory and asks for a cake with 'Support Gay Marriage' on it.   Of course he does not know the owners are Christian or he would have gone elsewhere.  Of course he would.     When he is refused he feels himself ' a lesser person' and demands justice.   He gets it.   The judge has no real alternative and gives a fine of £500 which is reasonable.   Take the other case in England a few years back.   A Christian couple run a boarding house for married couples  only.   They are guided by their conscience on this and no couple just living together make any fuss.   They are not anti anyone they are just pro-marriage.    Then a couple of gay activists  turn up, take them to court and in one of the worst miscarriages of justice in English law, they are so heavily fined that they lose their little business and the gays go laughing to the bank.  In the Belfast case the Christian family could have been just as heavily fined.  There is no law or defence that the Christians can use against the Gay Activists     No conscience clause has been written into the legislation, so in the end it is a question of how severe the punishment is and this will depend on how pro-gay the Judge happens to be.   It is a serious problem and tomorrow the Irish TD's will be anxious for you to vote for Gay Marriage less they be rubber stamped homophobic, not because they actually do believe in Gay Marriage.   It also is very true that tomorrow perhaps the people of Ireland will be able to say they disagree with Gay Marriage for the last time.  To voice such an opinion when the vote for is carried will be homophobic and their freedom of speech will be seriously curtailed.  I have heard one or two of your parliamentary candidates speaking and all the real questions they avoid as they do this one.  They support through fear not conviction and they are about to betray the Irish people.
