I am the Way, the Truth and the Life John 14:6

It is happening again.   I have been reading of another organisation that is going to teach us new ways to connect the old with the young.    Well at least they know there is a problem, which is more than those who caused the problem will admit.    They just carry on pretending that they are following Jesus, and everyone else is to blame, these 'traditionalists' for example.

But there is no new way.   "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life" said Jesus "No one gets to the Father except through me" John 14:6.

But wait.   Those teachings of Jesus on chastity and marriage, on divorce and abortion, surely mature adults living in the world must adapt themselves to the conditions of the world.      And where did I get my information from?    From a group of Catechists preparing children for Holy Communion and Confirmation.    I was treated like a fool in the midst of these intelligent people as they declared that the Church must change its teaching on abortion, divorce, and contraception.   The feminist sent by the then bishop was delighted with their response.    And one of her pupils even told me it was the work of the Holy Spirit.   So apparently even He had abandoned Jesus, and was looking for new ways for the Church in the modern age.     Perhaps then it was the Holy Spirit who had removed Jesus from the centre of our altars, confused the people over the presence of Jesus, and commanded us to stand for Holy Communion, for the host 'was not meant to be worshipped'.     And of course the famous remark from a priest in a neighbouring parish that legislation in the Church was 'against placing the presence of Jesus on the altar'.   Of course these must have come from the Holy Spirit, for there is no legislation in the Church that tells us to do so.

So the answer to the question about new ways of young and old getting together is all about honesty and the teachings of Jesus.    Put the Blessed Sacrament back on the altar for adoration.  Listen to the teachings of Jesus on morality, get back to Catholic devotions especially on Mother Mary,  and teach the children the truth that Jesus taught for He is the Truth and will being our children back to Life.and most of all stop being 'mature adults', and become as 'little children'.
