Lord I Am Not Worthy

If indeed I am, by receiving Holy Communion, receiving the Divinity of Jesus, the second Adam, and that second Adam is God-Made-Man, why have I been forbidden to kneel and adore him at the altar rail?   One of the most astonishing modernist teaching is that somehow I am worthy of this honour, despite the words of the priest "Lord I am not worthy to enter under your roof...."   A creature has no equality whatsoever with his Creator and it is only the love of the Creator that keeps him in existence.     But perhaps the worst of this claim is that at the same time modernists are discouraging Confession and making little of sin as they promote adultery among our young people in our schools by insisting that we can ignore the teaching of Christ in such matters because he only wants us to look after the poor.   Yes, he wants us to look after the poor but he also told the apostles to 'teach all I have commanded you' Matthew 28.    We have a country now that is morally collapsing because to teach chastity, preach against abortion, show how the teachings of Christ are the very basis of a civilised society, are not just ignored but scorned, yes scorned.   It is such people with such disregard for Christ who swept away the altar rails to stop us adoring Jesus, who removed the Tabernacles from our altars to stop us kneeling before him, and then belittled his teachings, especially on sex and marriage.   Worthy they are not.    The Catholic Church is not built on a political philosophy but on the teachings of Jesus Christ.   We have no right wing Christians nor left wing Christians.   We have only those who are faithful to Jesus Christ and those who are not.    The Church is concerned with only one question; What must I do to earn Eternal Life.
